Non-bank status

Merchant Trade Guarantee Corporation Company Limited (MTG) is incorporated under the laws of Thailand. MTG is a non-bank financial company. MTG does not hold a banking licence or a licence to conduct regulated fintech, payments, or securities activity in any jurisdiction, does not issue financial instruments in its own name, and does not have direct access to SWIFT or any bank's balance sheet. Where this website refers to Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Performance Guarantees, Documentary Collections or any similar instrument, that instrument is issued by a bank or other authorised financial institution — not by MTG.

A boutique consultancy and facilitation company

MTG is a boutique consultancy company. It offers its services to corporates and professionals only, and not to retail persons. MTG is primarily engaged in the consultancy and facilitation of trade-based solutions for businesses, corporates and professionals seeking assistance with trade-based solutions for their business and credit-enhancement needs. MTG does not deal in the retail segment. Our minimum engagement size for every client and every trade or structured-finance transaction is USD 500,000.00 or equivalent, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

No management of client money; no advisory services

MTG does not accept or manage money or investments for clients in any shape, way or form. MTG does not provide advice, and does not perform advisory services, for or on behalf of clients. MTG's role is limited to consultancy and facilitation in connection with obtaining trade-based credit-enhancement instruments for clients active in global trade and import/export.

No solicitation or investment recommendation

No information on this website should be construed as a solicitation, offer, recommendation, or representation of suitability or endorsement of any security, investment, strategy, or any other type of financial product. Fintech, TradeTech and software capabilities described on this website are services and consultancy capabilities offered by MTG; they are not investment products, deposit products, or regulated financial instruments in themselves.
